I have mentioned in my previous blog that Sanur beach is the best location for wondrous sunrise and cycling. It also has great old villas-built decades ago by the wealthy expats who fell under Bali’s spell. What about having a luxurious beachfront resort added in this wonderful beach location? It feels heaven, isn’t it? Hyatt Regency is a five-star hotel situated on the main street of Sanur and located on a lovely beachfront with nine hectares of lush secluded and tropical gardens. The hotel is just 16-km away from the International Ngurah Rai Airport and conveniently located near Bali’s main tourist attractions.
It was indeed a wonderful 7-days of stay in Hyatt Regency. I was refreshed and felt renewed after so many months at work. This hotel is just re-opened for about 4-months ago. It was closed for renovation. In fact, they just had their grand re-opening on March 21, 2019. It was the time when I checked out. I wasn’t aware that it was the date of the grand re-opening, I would have extended my stay to celebrate it with them. Ultimately, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. All cents that you’ll be spending here is all worth it. From the airport picked up, overwhelming welcomed, great room, delicious food, stunning views, inviting pools and beach to friendly staffs. Jeez!!! I feel like I want to stay here forever!
Basically, if you are staying in this luxurious hotel. It’s already fulfilling even if you are not going to any main tourist attractions. However, in my case, I always see to it to make the most of it when traveling to other countries. Although this isn’t my first time in Bali, I still don’t want to miss every tourist attraction; So, here is my itinerary during my 7-days of stay in Hyatt Regency:
Candi Dasa
It is a seaside town in eastern Bali that rests on the edge of a freshwater lagoon. Most structures are on the road Jalan Raya Candida west of the lagoon, heading towards Gianyar or Denpasar. From here, you can see the view across the lagoon to Gili Tepekong, Gili Biaha and Gili Mimpang, three uninhabited islands popular with divers and local fishermen. You can choose the Pandan Restaurant so you can see this view.
Tegalalang Bali Swing
The Bali Swing in Tegalalang, Bali has become an occurrence that thousands of others have leaped up all over Bali. Don’t miss this out when you whenever you travel to Bali, so you can also have a unique experience and ability to have an instagrammable photo as well.
Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu
This temple is also known as Pura Tirta Dawa Gunung Kawi Sabatu, is a special temple in central Bali. It is one of the least visited temples, yet is one of the most beautiful and quite laid back temples in Bali. It features verdant gardens around ponds filled with carp and blooming lotuses and ancient shrines surrounded by crystal clear pools fed by natural springs. This temple is situated within the highland village of Sebatu in Tegallalang, Gianyar, approximately 12km northeast from the main Ubud hub. Tickets are IDR 20,000 and a half for children.
But before reaching the northwest corner where Taman Suci and the main Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple grounds are located, you will have to do the customary sash around your waist which you can borrow at the ticket booth. A few steps along the cobble path you will instantly enjoy a full water garden, a large pool where golden carp are kept. A figure of the goddess Sarasvati is its centerpiece, together with a ‘floating’ Wantilan hall from which you can feed the fish. Fish food is sold at a mere IDR 5,000.
Things you must remember when driving in Bali. Please!!! Please!!!! Be careful! Bali is also known for its narrow road. So, if you are driving here you must be very careful. It happened to me every time I visited Bali. The car I used to sit with always fall in the canal. Always make sure to drive safely.
Overall, my stay at Hyatt Regency hotel was great! You deserved a five-star for me! Kodus and congratulations to your grand re-opening!
