Songkran is the Thai New Year’s national holiday in Thailand. Although, New Year has been officially celebrated on the 1st of January, but Songkran was their traditional Thai New Year and it was transformed into a national holiday.

Really??? There’s a cave in town?
One of the highlights of my trip was able to meet a ‘Kababayan’ (countryman) from the Philippines. This ‘biatch’ (guy) is simply a lot of fun to be around. He also likes to travel a lot. In fact, he has been to more than 50 countries. I enjoyed so much of his sense of humour that takes delight in almost everything — from sarcasm, to situational comedy. (haha!!!) We became an instant friend, did some crazy stuffs but hmmm… ‘what happened in Pattaya stays in Pattaya’.
