Palio Khao Yai, Thailand

Who would have thought that aside from temples, beaches, and mountains Thailand has to offer; they also have an ancient village of over 500 years in Tuscany, Italy and an old European style building covered with ivy and surrounded by undamaged forests of Khao Yai.

This visually attractive shopping center is located in Khao Yai which approximately 108 km or 1 hour and 32 min drives away from Dankhuntod District and 3 hours away from Bangkok. Piazza Grande is actually not a tourist destination but due to a strong influence from areas in Italy. This place always become part of the itinerary. This brings the charm of Tuscany concept with fountain and a clock tower and a unique lifestyle shopping  center filled with souvenir shops, attractions, restaurants, wine shops and many more.

I can say that this is also one of the most Instagrammable places in Khao Yai. You just have to make sure that you bring your own photographer as it’s very difficult to take photos when your with friends and has no talent on taking pictures. (LOL) I would definitely recommend this because it’s an ideal place for people to go shopping, take a walk, relax and most especially taking photos. Ultimately, an entertaining and unique place in Thailand.

Other than Palio Piazza Khao Yai village, there are lots of tourist destinations and resorts that you can visit such as Khao Yai National Park, Chocolate factory, House Jungle, Fantasy Resort, Sri Sawat Camp, World Heritage Khao Yai Forest complex, Camping ground waterfall, etc…

If you are planning to visit here, I would suggest to have at least 3 days so you will enjoy every thing Khao Yai has to offer and make sure to rent a car as public transportation is a very big problem here.

I had so much fun and was amazed by this picturesque charm of Tuscany, Italy village in the green heart of Thailand. It is very inexpensive option compared to flying to Italy. #atravels
